Chronicles of the Mortal Vishnu book review

Posted on October 21, 2019 by admin

Chronicles of the Mortal Vishnu

Will god turn corrupt too?

Before going to detailed review go check the podcast episode with the author where he shared a lot of things about mythology. An insanely detailed conversation.

Let me tell you this book is not everyone’s cup of tea. If you are a beginner you may get bored or you will put this book down after some time. But, if you love mythology then it is a kind of adventure for you.

The book starts with sholk and map which will give you clear insights into the book. In the new world where injustice is common. Its year 3300 of a new age where the political structure is changed and the first global war is about to happen.

The story is all about Tejas, navya, bhuswami. Tejas is An avatar of Lord Vishnu. There are so many new terms I came to know after reading this book. Bhuswami is like the god of evil. The book slowly takes a fast pace. How the daitya sena come?

My favorite chapter,
The hero rise as Ganga flows
People find hope
A war to create

As I already said it’s a big 300+ pages book. But, the book has everything that a reader needs, fun, motivation, love struggle, emotions, etc.

My favorite part is “Tejas struggle”, navy’s sacrifices” “the death of two princesses” and the end part.

Talking about the character they are well developed and described. The language is very easy and simple. Navya is my favorite character. I know it’s a big book but worthwhile if you’re a core fan of mythology.

Plus point is the author added tips to become debut author at the end of book.

I can’t wait to explore more work from the author.
